Players ran onto the field through the Panthers game day tunnel as smoke filled the sky, exchanging high-fives with Panthers players and Sir Purr, in addition to being welcomed by TopCats and the league's spirit squad cheerleaders at the 2008 Challenger Flag Football League opening day ceremony. The league is designed for children and young adults with disabilities.
